To bring its in-store shopping experience online and extend its reach internationally, Garrett Popcorn needed a modern online storefront. The focus of the InsiteCommerce to BigCommerce migration was to create efficiency and scalability of the store, including abilities for back-office teams to manage marketing to drive sales. 

Garrett needed to migrate to a more robust eCommerce platform that would allow front-end developers to make essential changes, without being stopped or slowed down by technical limitations. The specialty retailer also wanted to ensure its new online store had a superior UX and UI design—one that would establish a real emotional connection with customers, and ultimately promote higher engagement, conversions, and sales.

Garrett Popcorn’s new eCom store was aimed to inspire visitors with the brand's legacy, convey the brand story through the messaging, and guide users through a popcorn-bucket builder experience.

The ability to purchase in seemingly infinite combinations and permutations within the builder was an illusion that we managed down into predefined products - offering multiple tin sizes, designs, popcorn flavours and combinations, the user has seemingly all the choice in the world - whilst the distribution centres have predefined end-results that the user can feel is bespoke to them.
