Codal’s leadership team rendezvoused in the beautiful city of Dublin, Ireland last week to discuss all things eCommerce, review existing offerings and capabilities, and brainstorm ways to improve processes across the company.
Department heads from design, engineering, QA, product management, and partnerships attended this week-long excursion for an in-depth, in-person collaboration between teams. Codal’s staff stretches from our headquarters in Chicago, to our design studio in Lincoln, England, to our engineering office in Ahmedabad, India—so we make sure to schedule a time once or twice a year for remote teams to come together and address overarching challenges, opportunities, and so on.

During these five days in Dublin, Codal’s leaders went over formalized processes with a fine-toothed comb, asking questions and coming up with ideas for faster and smarter techniques when building eCommerce products.

How can we better collaborate with technology partners like Shopify and BigCommerce to provide greater value to clients? How can we streamline design and development tasks to maximize productivity? How can we improve processes for approvals, deliveries, and overall client communication? These are some of the key topics our leadership team unpacked over presentations, brainstorming sessions, dinners, and bonding sessions at the pub.

Codal’s leaders also took the opportunity to see Dublin in all of its glory. They toured the Guinness Factory, ate at famous local restaurants, and admired the historic architecture—all while growing closer as a team.

Whether we’re crafting a D2C online store, B2B sales portal, mobile app, subscription portal, or any other eCommerce solution, we leverage the best-in-class technologies and processes available. Our team is excited to take the insights and opportunities gleaned from the eCommerce Summit in Dublin to deliver even more game-changing products to clients.
