What’s it like to work with Codal?

July 23rd, 2018

Starting a project with Codal and wondering what it will be like to work with us? Or are you simply just interested in how we do things? You’ve come to the right place. Here’s a guide to tell you a little bit more about how we transform frustrations into features and headaches into highlights—in short, this is how we make your project a success.

How We Work: Collaboration and Transparency

Codal is open to as much collaboration on projects as our clients like— the more the merrier! Your feedback is important to us— we want to build something that not only we like, but something that you will also fall in love with.

As a testament to our commitment to collaboration and transparency, Codal promises the following to all of our clientele. If you work with us, here’s what you can expect:

  • Weekly updates from your project manager
  • An opportunity to jump on daily conference calls with our team (if you want to be included in daily stand-up meetings!)
  • Our doors 100% open to you
  • Complete access to our internal project management systems, so you can receive updates, track progress, and view what we’re working on in real-time

Success is a Process

With nearly a decade of industry experience, we have encountered and surpassed every obstacle imaginable; we understand what makes a successful project, and what doesn’t.

Displayed below is the Agile process Codal adheres to that ensures a truly valuable end product every time.

The Codal Process

Bringing Our Style of Innovation to You

Some of our projects call for Codal’s innovative and creative spirit right from the get-go. For these, we conduct our iDays. Short for ‘Innovation Day’, iDays are specialized, hyper-collaborative ideation sessions that take place in the discovery phase of the design process.

An iDay distinguishes itself from typical brainstorming sessions by connecting different project teams, stakeholders, users, and any other involved parties. A standard iDay may consist of designers, researchers, developers, members of the client team, and even their own end-users. The result is a forging of connections that would normally be sequestered in a typical design cycle. For example, with our iDays, we helped #BuiltByGirls have a vastly improved customer experience. Which, allowed them to redeploy 3 full-time employees.

Even after your project is complete, Codal will support you with maintenance packages and plans— like our dedicated team’s service “Amplify.”

With Amplify, a team of developers is designated for your project. You can scale your Amplify team up or down on a whim with flexible contracts, and use our experts for as long as you need, without worrying about being trapped in a long-term commitment.

We are not just your agency, we are your partner.

At Codal, we will work by your side to produce the best possible end product. We will freely give you suggestions (even about marketing!), and will consult you on every aspect of your project. We strive to design and develop platforms that are stable, sustainable, and trendy. As a UX design agency on the cutting edge, we want to bring our culture of innovation to your project.

We Work Where You Work, When You Work

As a global agency with offices in Chicago, London, and Ahmedabad, the sun never sets on the Codal empire. Our international presence allows us to provide round-the-clock assistance and remain fully dedicated to supporting our global clientele. We offer a variety of collaborative working models— fully onshore, fully offshore, or a hybrid—to suit your business needs and project requirements.
